| A skill that has splash damage will hit a few monsters within a certain area of the skill, an AOE will hit all the monsters within the area of the skill. To tell the difference, change to control a attack (shift + z) and hit the skill then right click on the ground. If it works, that's an AOE, if it doesn't then it's either a regular skill or splash damage. Use shift + x to change back to control b attack. It's important to note that you cannot use an AOE skill to attack another player who isn't already in niete (red) or battle (purple) status. If you're in a group attacking a niete user, be careful not to flag (go purple) around other players who are not in your party, as their skills could hurt or kill you. | |
